We need to continually strive to be better. Better people. Better employees. Better bosses. Better parents. Better children. Better neighbors.
The Career Focus program is geared to help you be a better employee and boss. This Main Street Guymon program is going to start its third year with the first class on Sept. 15, 2017.
For eight weeks attendees will hear from speakers who address topics such as Making Better Presentations, Leadership Lessons, Cultural Competency, Sensitivity Training, Hiring and Firing and Harassment, Ethics, Budgeting and Financials, Managerial Skills, Strategic Planning, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, and Communication.
One evaluation from 2016 read, “This was a great class. We all had to think and interact. He really made you think about things and also how it applies to us in our jobs/lives.”
The class runs every Friday morning from 8:30 to 11:30 am and is held at the Guymon Fire Department Classroom. The cost of the class is $250. If you would like more information about the class call Melyn at 338-6246 or email Director@MainStreetGuymon.com.
