Honoring our Volunteers on January 5th
Main Street Guymon and the Guymon Chamber of Commerce have partnered up to take the opportunity to express their thanks to some of the many folks that give of themselves outside of work for the betterment of the entire community.
Being invited is Citizen of the Year Teri Mora; Chamber Volunteer of the Year Larry Buehler; Chamber Ambassador of the Year K.C. Rothschopf; Main Street Guymon Board Member of the Year Warner McKinnon; Community Kudos Volunteers Jim Quimby, Dave Watkins, Joyce Hallagin, Carlos Urias, Amy Kane, Genevera Powell, and Jess Nelson; Main Street Vital Volunteers Phyllis Stokes, Paul Montgomery, Erin Fernandez, Terry Brand, Sharon Morgan, Leita Andvik, Ann Grocholski, Zach Waugh and Nick Tuttle.
Five businesses who are also exceptional community givers have been invited to participate for this first year. The Bank of the Panhandle, City National Bank, Epic Touch, Hitch Enterprises, and Urban Bru are sharing appreciation moments with the volunteers.
The volunteers first gather at Epic Touch for an appreciation moment where they will be thanked by the Epic staff and the Chamber Ambassadors. They then proceed to Urban Bru where Hitch Enterprises is buying their lunch in thanks. The after lunch appreciation moment is at Bank of the Panhandle and then one at City National Bank where the Chamber Board of Directors, Main Street Guymon Board of Directors, and City Council have a time to give their thanks.
