Small Business Tax Workshop
A FREE workshop entitled “Small Business Tax Workshop” will be sponsored by the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center on Thursday, August 11, 2011. The workshop will be held at the Guymon Enterprise Center, located at 806 N E 6th, in Guymon. Workshop hours are 9 a.m. to noon with registration at 8:30.
This workshop is designed to benefit self-employed persons, small business owners and those interested in starting a business. The presenter at this workshop will be Dewey Brandon from the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Brandon is the Director of Taxpayer Services and Education for the OTC. Some of the subjects to be covered include: forms completion, which taxes you are responsible for, record keeping requirements and how and when to ask for help with tax problems. An OSBDC counselor will be present to share information helpful to small business startup and growth and provide opportunity for individual small business counseling.
