Christine's Home Furnishings
Christine Ansley has style. She walks in a room and you see it straight away. That’s also her job. With more than 18 years of interior design experience, Ansley’s eyes light up when she tells about people she helps in designing their homes. Whether it’s one room or a whole house, low budget or high, Ansley finds it a personal challenge to find what works in a space, what works for a person, and all within the budget allowed.
“At Christine’s we believe everyone deserves a beautiful home,” says Ansley with passion. “Sometimes all you need is an elegant floral arrangement to brighten up a room, and at other times you need a whole new room design.” The staff at Christine’s can help with both.
“No matter how large or how small your project is,” says Ansley, “Christine’s is here to help.”
In the summer of 2011, Ansley had the opportunity to purchase Panhandle Furniture, a well-respected Guymon business for over 40 years. With the change of ownership, Christine’s Home Furnishing and Design began to make its presence known on Guymon’s Main Street. Not only did the sidewalk in front of the store change color to red and beautiful pots with trees grace the front doors, the store has been transfixed with color. Upon entering the store, it smells delicious, the color massages your senses, as the beauty of the furniture and accessories are a feast for the eyes.
“When you shop at Christine’s,” says the vivacious owner, “you will find the whole package. We specialize in creating an easy, carefree shopping experience.” The owner herself is a one-of-a-kind designer and she has been training her staff well in home furnishing sand accessories.
If you choose to have a design consultation with Christine, she takes her Architectural Interior Design degree and her years of fashion merchandising for J.C. Penney to work for you, individually. “I look first at the floor design,” explains the designer. “Then I work to find what fits the personality of the client. What do they want? It might be simple, it might including lighting, hardware, and flooring in addition to furniture. I love to find colors that fit and sometimes we design custom florals for a room.
At this moment she is consulting on 14 homes in the tri-state area. Her design reach extends into Texas, Kansas, and throughout the Panhandle. She says her success is because she listens to the client and then she is able to visualize what they want. When someone is frustrated about not being about to put together what they want, Christine says, “Take a deep breath. This is what I do. Relax.”
Ansley says she is right where she’s supposed to be. She wakes up every day and enjoys going to work. She loves working with people from all walks of life, helping them to make their home more beautiful.
Take a moment to enjoy the beauty at Christine’s Home Furnishings at 515 N Main in Guymon. Let them help you make your home the dream home you have always wanted.
